Are you going to be in Summit County this labor day weekend? Welp, if so then here is the perfect way to spend your first afternoon in September. Dig through your pockets and see if you can find some loose 1 dollar bills. 5 of em’ gets you your own special ducky friend who has the ability to race down the Blue River and win you 1500 dollars cash! What? The duck race? Yes!! A full blown rubber duck race…with lots of cash up for grabs. The races start at 1 pm, beginning with the children’s duck race, the business races at 2 pm, and then the great rubber duck race at 3 pm.
The race will begin at the blue river plaza right on Main Street. In the plaza will be a kids zone, some live art, and some fresh BBQ out on the lawn! Have some fun and fill your stomach before the blue river turns yellow, filled with rubber ducks. No matter what age you are a river filled with toy ducks It truly is a sight to see. Come out and be a kid for the day! With a chance at $1500 why wouldn’t you?!
