Frisco is one of Summit County’s easiest mountain towns to love. It sits close to Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, Dillon, and Silverthorne, with Main Street, Frisco Bay Marina, the Frisco Adventure Park, the Frisco Nordic Center, and year-round events all nearby.
For visitors flying into Denver Airport, Frisco is often the first stop on a Colorado mountain trip. For locals and groups coming from nearby resort communities, Frisco can be a great destination for dinner, concerts, summer events, lake days, winter outings, weddings, employee gatherings, and family weekends.

The transportation plan matters, especially when your group is juggling flight times, luggage, ski gear, kids, event schedules, winter roads, or a return ride after a long day out.
Who is driving from Denver Airport? Where will your group meet? Does everyone need a rental car? Will rideshare be available for a mountain route? Who wants to handle I-70 traffic, weather, parking, or the drive back after dinner or an event?
Summit Express helps travelers and groups arrange Frisco transportation with less stress. Our team provides scheduled shuttle service, door-to-door service where applicable, and private transportation options for groups, families, events, and custom travel plans.
Why Plan a Frisco Trip?
Frisco is a practical home base and a fun destination all at once. You can stay close to Summit County ski areas, spend the afternoon at the marina, walk Main Street, meet friends for dinner, plan a family outing at the Adventure Park, or build a weekend around one of Frisco’s seasonal events.
For Denver Airport travelers, Frisco can be a smart choice because you do not need to start your trip with a rental car counter, winter driving stress, or parking questions. Summit Express offers Denver Airport to Frisco shuttle service to help travelers get from DEN to the mountains more comfortably.
For Summit County and Eagle County locals, Frisco is an easy place to gather for concerts, lake days, festivals, Nordic skiing, tubing, dinner, or family celebrations. Private transportation can help groups ride together, reduce vehicle coordination, and make the return trip easier.
For weddings, corporate outings, ski clubs, school groups, and family reunions, the reservations team can help talk through timing, pickup details, luggage needs, and vehicle options.
Upcoming Frisco Events to Plan Around
Frisco has plenty of weekends and seasonal events that are worth planning transportation around. Here are a few 2026 events that may be a good fit for Frisco shuttle service, private transportation, or group transportation.
- September 11–12, 2026
Frisco Fall Fest & Arts at Altitude
This two-day celebration brings local and regional artists, live music, German-inspired food, drinks, and family-friendly activities to the Frisco Historic Park and Main Street. Private transportation can help groups enjoy the festivities without coordinating several vehicles or searching for parking near the event. - November 28–December 6, 2026
Frisco Wassail Days
Local businesses throughout Frisco will serve their own versions of wassail during this annual holiday tradition. Visitors can collect stamps from participating locations and redeem a completed tasting card for a commemorative mug while supplies last, making it a festive option for families, couples, and groups planning a winter outing.
Getting to Frisco Without Renting a Car
Frisco is close to several mountain destinations, but that does not mean every traveler needs a car. Many guests would rather skip the rental car line, avoid winter driving, and let someone else handle the mountain route from Denver Airport.
You’re Working with a Local Mountain Transportation Team
Summit Express understands Colorado mountain travel because it is what we do every day. Our professional drivers are experienced with mountain roads, winter conditions, airport pickups, luggage, ski gear, event timing, and the planning details that come with moving people around Summit County.
That local experience matters on a Frisco trip. I-70 can change quickly in winter, parking can be tight during events, and group plans can get stressful when everyone is arriving from different places. Summit Express helps simplify the transportation piece so your group can focus on the reason for the trip.
For families, that may mean fewer logistics after a long flight. For event groups, it may mean one coordinated plan instead of several cars. For visitors, it may mean getting to Frisco without wondering whether a rideshare will accept a mountain trip.
