Between Exit 203: CO 9; East Frisco (Silverthorne) and Exit 232: US 40; Empire Junction (Georgetown) from Mile Point 205 to Mile Point 228. Passenger vehicles are required to have mud or snow tires or use chains or alternative traction devices or be a four wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle. Slower speeds are advised.
