Syncline By Albert Paley
Contemporary sculptor Albert Paley has created a new permanent sculpture for Breckenridge, Colorado. This the first time anything from Albert has been commissioned by the state of Colorado. It is a sight to see and even touch! I went to check it out for myself and it was very impressive. Even the children around it knew it was not for climbing but for looking and appreciating. They sat in its shade and enjoyed the art in a unique way. Albert Paley has work in the Smithsonian Institution to the Metropolitan Museum of Art so we are so privileged to have him create something special for Breckenridge. The sculpture is perfectly placed at our Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge and what a stage it has. The area has recently received a face lift and the sculpture is definitely the highlight with its amazing metal work. Standing at a towering 24 feet tall, the sculpture invites you to get close, take pictures and bask in its blue glory.
